Links, Links and MORE Links!!!

Remember all the things we wanted,
Now all our memories they're haunted,
We were always meant to say goodbye.
- Kelly Clarkson

Yes, I've always been deeply in love with her and even more so with her new song Already Gone! =) Jon knows what I'm talking about. ;)

Skype Convo (phone call):

Jon and Shana starts having an in depth conversation about Kelly.

John asking a question but is being ignored by Jon and Shana.

Ha-ha! Fail. =) But, we answered his question like...2 minutes later after realizing.

I've been insanely busy between school, home, life, and internet things. I've been seriously lacking in my blog posts. I'd like to say sorry again and that I have a way to own up! I have been working on a project with my four wonderful gay friends. =)

TheGYC has created a radio programmed every Sunday at 8 pm (UK Time). It's pretty awesome and Bobby thought of making a radio segment. We pulled everyone together, created ideas and got organized. We now do a radio segment for at least 10 minutes. We aired the first time on the 11th of October. Everyone laughed and seemed to like it. We're really excited. Basically, we make scripts (skits in a way) and we record our own lines. Jon and John puts everything together! It's lots of fun but also LOADS of hard work. I've been trying to manage between homework, writing skits, moving, and regular home stuff.

You read right! I am moving. After the 24th of October, I shall be in a brand new home. =) I can't wait meaning no internet for day or two. I'll put up photos of my awesome bedroom and my work place. =D

Okay, seeing how we have working on a radio segment where I'll post up for you guys daily so everyone can follow and such. I should REALLY explain my relationships with them, their personalities and their roles as part of our group.

I'll try to post up everyone's role in the group, their personalities, how long we've been friends, and our relationship status (meaning how we get along and such).

For now, I'll leave you with a few things to look up and enjoy.

First of all, PLEASE let others know about my blog. =) This is a pro-gay website with humor and a serious tone. I think we can accept gays, be friends with them and treat them like any other person. So spread my blog about: http://agirlandhergays.blogspot.com/

Second of all, join TheGYC! Even if you're straight! I think the more heterosexuals means the more accepting everyone is becoming. =) There are some really cool people on there (like me!). Feel free to check out: http://www.thegyc.com/

Third of all, if you haven't heard our trailer from last week then visit: http://www.youtube.com/user/AGirlandHerGays

Remember that TheGYC Radio happens EVERY Sunday, at 8 pm (UK Time). I really hope you guys like it! If you have any topic ideas, suggestions, or need any advice on anything then e-mail us (us as in A Girl and Her Gays Group) at agirlandhergays@hotmail.com.

Take care and I'll blog to y'all soon! =)

Yours Truly,
Shana

BACK!!!!

As I’m chatting to my dear friend, as you all know…Bobby. I realized so many things. That…if it wasn’t for me being curious about my sexuality then, I may have never met such awesome people who happen to be all gay! All of them have changed my life! In a positive way of course…

I don’t see myself without the gay community around me anymore. If someone said “Would you see your life with no gay people around you?” No, I can’t see myself and I wouldn’t want to be! Gay people aren’t more special than heterosexuals but…they are so much more open minded. I also seem to have more in common with them.

Why exclude yourself to a group of people because they like the same sex? It’s so silly. I don’t understand homophobic people nor will I ever. I also don’t intend on. I rather surround myself with open minded people than narrow minded, simple as.

I’ve been working on a project with my 4 best friends. A skit…called “A Girl and Her Gays”. That will play every Sunday at 8 pm (UK Time). It’s been so much fun and it’s only been a week! I can’t wait to see how we progress as a group of friends, a team, and as individuals.

If you want to hear our trailer skit then visit: http://www.youtube.com/agirlandhergays

Sorry for not posting! As I have said, SO MUCH, has been going on in my life!

Yours Truly,
Shana

My Gayness Just Oozes!!!

Okay, so this might seem lame. Maybe it is?! But, if you're really bored or want something "fun". Then....

I found this picture on google. I found it so cute. =) I made a puzzle! =O Basically, save it, print it & cut it. you can have a fun "gay" puzzle to do! I think this shirt is so awesome! I need to find one and buy it.

Yours Truly,
Shana

John, Jon, Matt or Bobby?!

Okay, now…I’m going to present you my four best friends. Who happen to be gay and amazingly, help me get through my ups and downs. I love them all to death! I will be presenting each and every one of them one post at a time. I’ll present them and give a few funny stories/experiences that I had with each and every one of them. =)

Who shall I start with first?! *thinks* Bobby! Because…he’s the decoration of my house and we shall start with him first and work our way up. =)

Bobby…my dear lovely Bobby, there is so much to say about you. Okay, I lied! Haha. I’m kidding. So, I met bobby roughly 3 years ago thanks to my favorite chat room: TheGYC. He was the first when whoever chatted to me. I found him weird. I was like, “who’s this ugly Asian guy?!” Bobby, another guy and I, created this funny thing that actually became a popular thing for a few months in the chat called “gaybies”. Now, know what you’re saying. Gaybies have been around for A LONG time. But, we were probably the first ones to make it funny and talk about gaybies for hours and hours.

The “joke” was really about me giving birth to Bobby’s babies. But, he didn’t want them unless they were GAY. So, he’d “shove” them back into my vagina and hope they came back out gay. We found it hilarious but now that we thing about it...it’s just kind of stupid but still giggly funny!

Well as you can figure, Bobby is Asian. He’s from Malaysia. He is 18 years old and is currently living in Australia and is learning to become a “chef”. He’ll be the random dork pasting recipes and cooking tips onto my blog. You just have to love him though.

I love to tease Bobby about. Because as stereotypes go; Asians are apparently supposed to have small penises. I mess with Bobby about him and his “micropenis”. I joke around saying that his penis can’t even be seen without a microscope.

Bobby definitely does have self-esteem issues. All he can do is post pictures of himself and say “check out this hot guy”. Ah la la! Qu’est ce qu’on va faire avec toi mon petit boule de chocolat? (What are we going to do with you my little chocolate ball ?)

I don’t go to Bobby so much for help or advice. He usually makes things worse or just sings. Which by the way, he has a great singing voice. =) He’s usually the one that takes things lightly. He’s the one that will make you lose your concentration from working and actually fulfilling something.

Basically, I love you Bobby. =)

Yours Truly,
Shana

P.S. It's not sure my American Cookie Recipe will work seeing how its a translation from a French one. It SHOULD work but, I may have added a bit too much flour or sugar or not enough. You'll just have to play with it. =) That's the joy of cooking & baking!

Also, remember to tell your friends about my blog! Thanks! =D

Guess the subject of this post!!!

Guess whose back! Back again! Shana’s back. Back again! =)

Yay for Eminem!

Haha. Okay, so Shana has been gone for about…two days? I’ve been extremely tired (still am) and un-inspired for some reason. I have topic ideas but there is a difference between having ideas and wanting to write about them. =P

Basically, I didn’t get to make my cookies yesterday. I got terribly upset and in a sour mood. I finally got to make them and now I’m in a tired mood but, a good tired. A proud tired now a bad one. You’ll be reading this post “last” per se. But, I’ll be posting about 4 other posts on here today to catch up for the two days missing. =)

Just because I <3 you guys. Now, someone told me to get twitter. But, I don’t see a point in yet because I’m not really getting “business”. If you know what I mean, I might start actually make a few videos in the future if I get more fans in such. So, PLEASE tell others about my blog. I hope to attract A LOT of people in a good way. I’m here to express myself and my daily life but, I also want to make sure you guys enjoy everything too. =)

Now, let us get back to subject. What is the subject of this post? COOOOOOOKIEEEEEEEEES!!!! YAY! Yes, I made 28 delicious cookies! I love baking brownies & cookies. (I prefer baking than actually cooking.) So, I’m going to share my recipe with you and a few photos. Baking isn’t hard. Really anyone can do it. You just have to be somewhat organized and not forget about them baking. ^^

Also, remember I use grams in France so; I’ll use google to translate grams into teaspoons and such for the Americans. My recipe will be once in grams then written again into teaspoons & etc. Because, I don’t know what type of things English people use! =O

Baking Recipe (French Version)

- 80g of butter (melted enough to be mixed),
- 125g of sugar,
- 2 packs of vanilla sugar,
- 1 egg,
- 150g of flour,
- 100g of chocolate chips,
- 1 teaspoon of milk,
- Mix everything together,
- Use a regular spoon to get make cookie balls (haha that sounds wrong) and put it on cooking paper,
- Put them in an oven for 12 minutes at temperature 6 (180°C).

Cookie Recipe (American Version)

- 2 ½ oz of butter,
- 4oz (¼ lb) of Sugar,
- 2 packs of vanilla sugar,
- 1 egg,
- 5oz of flour,
- 3 ½oz of chocolate chips,
- 1 teaspoon of milk,
- Mix everything together,
- Use a regular spoon to get make cookie balls (haha that sounds wrong) and put it on cooking paper,
- Put them in the oven for 12 minutes at 350°f.

Okay, now the recipe (which I corrected a bit), said that the ingredients can make 20 cookies. I’m not saying that it’s lying but, you’d have to make super mini cookies for it to work. I made 13 cookies out of this recipe; 13 good sized cookies.

I doubled the recipe today and I got 28 (I made a few a little too big) but, it’s not bad. It took me 2 hours to make them. (Only have one oven plate to put cookies on). Now, when I say to put the cookies for 12 minutes, then I REALLY mean it. 10 minutes isn’t enough and 15 is way too much. They said 10 to 15 minutes, its 12 minutes. Remember, cookies STILL cook when out of the stove. They cool down and get hard. 12 +3 minutes of cooling = 15 minutes. Perfecto!

I played around with this recipe A LOT. Bobby also gave me advice on how to make them delicious. It’s all about figuring out your own technique. I think the way I do it, is good. Everyone loves my cookies. Another tip is to use cooking chocolate and not chocolate chips. It takes double the work to cut the cookies and such but, they are yummier! (Also, you can save money when you think about it.) I think chocolate chips are overpriced. =(

Now, to show you proof and an estimation of what the cookies should look like in the end. I have some photos to show you the steps. =)

Okay, so here are the ingredients. =)

Here's what the batter SHOULD look like. Of course, I made a few cookies before taking this picture. This is what x1 the recipe looks like. I doubled the recipe so there was A LOT more batter.

Cookie balls! (Haha. Love that sentance. =P)

This is wha they should look like: Brown on the edges and normal in the middle.

What your final outcome should be depending on how many you make. I made 28.
This is my cookie mountain! =)

Okay, so I hoped you guys liked this post and enjoyed reading!

Questions of the day:

Do you like baking? If not, how come?

Are you going to try my recipe?

What's your opinon on men/women baking? Is it only a female thing or can both sexes do it? Without being "gay"?

Yours Truly,
Shana
